The Story Of Red River BBQ & Grill



Red River BBQ & Grill is locally owned and operated by brothers Kevin & Ric Kiersh.  Since 2002, Red River has been serving up some of the best bar-b-que in the Houston area. Red River offers many different menu items to choose from, but common to all is an obsession to quality food using the highest quality ingredients available which is reflected in every plate they serve.

It all started in League City, Texas.  The Kiersh brothers opened in 2002, with no previous restaurant experience.  Where they lacked the experience, they made up for it with the desire to cook and serve the best food that they knew how to make.  Several recipes originating from family, in particular their mom, Linda.  Both Kevin & Ric, having worked for their dad Eric in the auto service industry, learned from an early age that with a great product and exceptional service, your dreams can be achieved.  In 2011, Red River BBQ & Grill added a second location in Katy, Texas.  

Red River has become known for outstanding food and exceptional service with an atmosphere where people can go to be treated like Guests.  With a warm and inviting atmosphere, Red River offers a range of menu items, all served in generous portions by their highly trained and attentive team members.  Whether you choose bar-b-que, burgers, steaks or seafood, you will taste the difference and see that high quality, fresh meats and produce are core to Red River's foundation.

Red River BBQ & Grill offers catering services as well.  From large pickup orders or deliveries, to full-service catering, you will find the same high quality food and service that you find inside their restaurants.  On full-service catering events, Red River provides everything necessary to make you feel like the entire restaurant experience has been brought to you.  From great food, friendly & experienced serving staff, serving dishes and a touch of decor, they provide everything necessary to ensure your event is a success.
