Red River BBQ CO. is co-owned and operated by Ric and Kevin Kiersh, who started with an humble catering business in College Station then converting it into what is now know as River BBQ, a successful business located in League City Tx.

The Kiersh brothers have built their success upon tried-and true formulas, offering barbecue meals cooked by the books of family recipes. Of all the barbecue restaurants in the Greater Houston area few can say they have been voted as the best in the area. League City's Red River BBQ Co however, belongs to such an elite club, having recently been voted "Best Barbecue in Houston" by listeners of the local radio station 96.5, The Mix.

At Red River, they offer eight different types of smoked meats, all cooked with lOO-percent wood heat, including brisket, pork ribs, chicken, sausage, ham, turkey, and pork tenderloin. Red River doesn't only serve great barbecue but also serve a variety of hamburgers and mouth watering steaks with many choice cuts to choose from not to mention fresh catfish, shrimp, chicken fried steak. All plates are complimented by home made sides that include but are not limited to potato salad, beans, coleslaw, and macaroni salad.
