Red River BBQ & Grill is co-owned and operated by brothers Kevin and Ric Kiersh.  Red River BBQ started out as a catering business in College Station, TX and in 2002, evolved into what is now known as Red River BBQ & Grill located in League City, TX.

Red River BBQ & Grill is a family owned and operated business and with the opening of their second location in Katy, TX in 2011, they believe that this is the key to their success.

The Kiersh brothers have built their success upon tried and true formulas, offering barbecue meals and more, cooked by the books of family recipes.  Of all the barbeque restaurants in the Greater Huston area, few can say they have been voted as the best in the area.  Red River BBQ & Grill, however, belongs to such an elite club, having been voted "Best BBQ in Houston" by the listeners of local radio stations several times over the years.

At Red River, they offer eight different types of bbq meats, all cooked with 100% wood fired pits.  From brisket, sausage, spicy sausage, pork ribs, chicken, turkey breast, ham and pork tenderloin, your sure to find a few you can not resist. Real Texas Barbeque comes from using genuine wood fired barbeque pits and no one knows that better than the Kiersh brothers.  You won't find Red River BBQ & Grill using gas or electric heated pits cause you simply won't get the true flavor that us Texans know and love.

Red River is not only known for great barbeque,  they also serve a wide selection of hand pressed burgers, mouth watering steaks, fried shrimp, chicken fried steaks and much more.  All plates are complimented by homemade side dishes that include but not limited to their mom's famous potato salad, cole slaw, pinto beans, macaroni salad & fresh hand battered onion rings.

Having started out in the catering business in the late 90's and then evolving into the restaurant business, Red River has the experience and know how to help make your party a success.  No longer are they only known for great barbeque so be sure to check out their catering menu.
